The fermentation was seven days in a small stainless tank using Syrah yeast and pumped over for 1 hour 4 times per day. The wine was aged in new French oak barrels for 16 months and bottled on March 11th 2008.
Winemaker Notes:
The color is purple - red, with aromas of raspberries, black cherries, cedar and mint. Rich and spicy on the palate, with flavors of wild berries, plums and briar. Bold and full bodied with good length on the palate. Tannins are firm and supple. |
