Vineyard & Production:
The grapes for this wine were harvested from head trained old vines from Lodi and Sonoma County. The harvest began on September 21st and was completed on September 24th, 2007. The wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged in once used French and American oak barrels for 16 months.
Winemaker Notes:
The color is dark red, with aromas of raspberry, cherries and pomegranates. Very fruity on the palate, with flavors of dark cherries, licorice and sweet cocoa. Rich and lively on the palate, with soft tannins. |
